In January, the Columbia Basin Sustainable Water Coalition (CBSWC) welcomed a presentation at the CBSWC Stakeholder Meeting on the W20 Lateral Extension Project from Kevin Richards, Engineer of Record for the Port of Moses Lake, President of Western Pacific Engineering & Survey, and Program Manager for the project, along with Dan Roach, Executive Director of the Port of Moses Lake. Their presentation highlighted the scope, need, and long-term benefits of the W20 project for the region.
Following this presentation, the CBSWC Board voted in February to provide a letter of support for the W20 project, joining a growing list of local partners supporting this important effort.

The W20 Project is a locally led water infrastructure initiative designed to deliver region-wide benefits across Grant County and the greater Columbia Basin.
Through strong collaboration among local stakeholders, the project aims to strengthen municipal water supplies, conserve groundwater resources, improve water quality, and enhance operational capacity and flexibility within the Columbia Basin Project.
CBSWC is proud to support efforts like W20 that advance sustainable, resilient water management for our communities and future generations.
